I just had a thought that metallic silver would look really cool, but I think that color is very rare in the nail polish market. Darker colors always look really nice. Dark blue looks beautiful with basically anything and is one of my favorite nail colors. Plain black works too, unless it's too much black for you.
Almost every color goes with black. If you want nails to pop out, try a light blue. I think silver looks nice with almost every colored top.

It looks terrible! It's not just the one bottle, it's others too, all different brands.Why does my nail polish keep 'bubbling' once it's dried on my nails? ?
there could be many reasons why your nail polish is bubbling. dont do your nails in a hot room. dont to your nails under a ceiling fan or outside. you can put your nail polish in the fridge 5 minutes before you apply and put on two THIN coats then a clear coat. but of course wait for each coat to dry. your nails could be bumpy so buff them before you apply the polish if they arent even and smooth. you could be applying too thick of a coat. the polish could be old. dont shake the bottle before applying.. gently roll it around in your hands upside down to mix the paint. after you apply your first layer of polish wait a few minutes and can dip your fingers in ice cold water to get rid of heat which will cause bubbles. also do that for the second coat and top coat. if none of these work go to the salon and get them done cause i know those darn bubbles can be so frustrating!! :)Why does my nail polish keep 'bubbling' once it's dried on my nails? ?
Try putting a bonder on your nail first. You can find it at any beauty supply store that sells nail stuff. Then when you shake your polish up before you use it...don't shake it! Instead put the bottle up side down between your hands and roll it between them. Shaking your polish causes air bubbles. Then make sure your polish is completely dry before adding another layer or a top coat. If you don't already use a top coat you should. It makes your polish look glossier and last longer. Also how long have you had these polishes? If it's more than a year to a year and a half, it may be starting to get old. It may be time for a new bottle.

I really wouldn't worry. It will only damage your baby if you are constantly sniffing it over a long period of time. If this was a one off there will only be the smallest chance probably none of any damage being done.

No acetone will not harm the baby if you smell it once or twice. The only way it would have an effect on the baby is if you were in a room for hours a day smelling it then yes it would do some harm to the baby. i used nail polish remover all the time, and im gonna have my baby next week. you may not literally smell the nail polish remover yet, but just remember it, and your worrying yourself on top of that....i once walked outside of work (i work at a mill that DOES NOT smell good) and was so sure if i looked hard enough...i would find those blueberry cupcakes...i just knew someone had to be cooking secretly in their car haha...smelling things and worrying you hurt your baby by something minor is just part of being pregnant

The bleach does not stain, it actually removes color from the carpet fibers. There is no fixing bleach damage----the carpet will have to be replaced.

The best thing that would last the longest is dying the rubber with a stain. sharpie or magic markers work well (permanent makers) those will last about anywhere from a week to a month.





If your using them for art (not wearing) i would suggest priming them with something that has a polymer base.. so that there is a layer that binds the two mediums together...





If your painting on the sides of the shoe and want to seal them. i would use a polymer epoxy 2 part mix and put a thin coat over the area that needs protection. Painting other things with nail polish?
seal it with polyurethane paint.





but it might be VERY slippery.

after u put a few coats of paint on wipe most of it off the brush and lightly (and gently so u dont get any on ur skin) paint the edge of the tip with the brush. apply a topcoat every night and that should make it chip less..alos use higher quality nailpolish...if u can peel it off or it chips easily its either old and needs to be replaced or its cheap or both... i use OPI and mine doesnt chip..i also paint the edges where the chips usually begin

Base coats are used to prevent the polish from staining your nails (usually yellow) so if you keep them painted than that may be an unnecessary step. The less on your nail the better. try using clear nail polish after your done. do, three or four coats of color than 3 coats of clear, i have the same problem. it still doesnt last that long but longer than without
usually i have the same problem but then i started recoating it before i go out or before i do somthing that i think will chip them
try putting on a new layer of top coat every day. I have the same problem, but mine usually starts the day that i painted them.
I buff before I paint and then make sure that you are not putting too much polish on, that will make it chip. I also use sally hansens as a top coat, it works great for me
try doing more layers of the paint and go over it with clear kwickdry and it should stay longer.
It happens to me too I guess I'm just use the wrong kind!

Depends on your skin tone. I'm very pale so I usually wear clear just to make them shine or light/pale pink. Bright or dark colours are fun sometimes but I usually only wear them a day or two before I take them off.

Paint clear or light nail polish over it, then wipe it off right away. Don't use a bold color because that will be hard to wipe off all the way.
Wait until it starts to wear off, then pick it off.
My mother told me when she was a kid (they were poor in a third world country and did not have nail polish remover) they weren't supposed to wear polish and would sneak and wear it and then use a razor blade to take the polish off.





I wouldn't recommend that because of obvious reasons.

***lightly*** file the tops of your nails, this will rough em up slightly, and create a surface that the nail polish can grab onto. next apply a clear base coat, then the colored coat, then a clear or glitter top coat. Revlon makes a good nail polish that lasts a good while.
here's what you need to try regularly file your nails to shape dont clip or chew them it will ruin them also take a finer sided grit of the nail file and file the top of your nails you need to get the ones that have 6, 7 or 8 steps i cant remember how many but you use that fine grit the smooth them with the smoothing grit buff and polish with the other two sides that are made for it maintain them like this everday only do the fine grit like once a week or it will thin your nails to much when you paint them use a clear base polish then the color and finish with a clear coat made for shine
Try wiping your nails off with nail polish remover before you put the polish on--it will remove oils that may not let the polish stick as well as it should. I also recommend using a base coat (not just clear nail polish, one that actually is meant to be a base coat) and a top coat after you apply the color.
first buff them using a nail file, this literally makes miniscule particles of your nail stick up so it can hold on to polish better. don't use too many coats of nail polish, but apply one thin coat at a time, making sure each has some time to dry.

after u put a few coats of paint on wipe most of it off the brush and lightly (and gently so u dont get any on ur skin) paint the edge of the tip with the brush. apply a topcoat every night and that should make it chip less..alos use higher quality nailpolish...if u can peel it off or it chips easily its either old and needs to be replaced or its cheap or both... i use OPI and mine doesnt chip..i also paint the edges where the chips usually begin

try using clear nail polish after your done. do, three or four coats of color than 3 coats of clear, i have the same problem. it still doesnt last that long but longer than without

try putting on a new layer of top coat every day. I have the same problem, but mine usually starts the day that i painted them.
I buff before I paint and then make sure that you are not putting too much polish on, that will make it chip. I also use sally hansens as a top coat, it works great for me
try doing more layers of the paint and go over it with clear kwickdry and it should stay longer.
It happens to me too I guess I'm just use the wrong kind!

well there are so many varieties of places where you can go to get nail art.


but the 2 places i recommend is, sallys beauty suplies, they have paint brush bottles with a thin tip brush so u can make lines, and strokes, and all different designs to your nail, i often do zebra stripes with that. i think it is called stripe rite paint for 3.49, and i think if u buy like 2 or something u get oh so many for free, they also have really neat dimonds where you can put it in the middle of your flower how some nail salons do it.





and i reciently just got this, and it workds really well its called


KONAD stamping nail art, it is wonderfull, they have all types of desings... its hard to explain over the internet, you would have to see it to actually know what i am talking about. www.nailasrtstamp.com really neat stuff! its not out in stores yet but you will be the first 1 in your town to have it!! :]

Try to be gentle on them for one thing. Wear gloves when cleaning, or doing dishes, that sort of thing because water is one of the worst things for nails, and can easily damage them with repeated exposure. Also, eat right and take vitamin and mineral supplements especially those formulated for hair, skin and nails. Also, avoid using your nails as 'tools,' such as using them to open soda cans, and so on.


Also, use a good quality cuticle oil 2 or 3 times a day - at least. Put a couple drops on each nail, and massage into your cuticle area, and into your nail. This will help keep them moisturized, and healthy. My nails grow noticeably overnight when I use this certain nail polish. Unfortunately, I forget the name of it, but I know what the bottle looks like. Every time I paint my nails using a certain lime-green or yellow polish they always make the nails turn yellow after I take off the nail polish.

First you need to know that a acitone nail-polish remover can incress the color in your nails. next your nails are probly sensitive to the dye in the nail polish, so try buying a clear nail polish. first try scrubbing your nails with a non-acitone nail polish remover. then after letting that dry file your nails down to a little bit shorter than you like. aply a generous amount of clear nail polish to each nail. wait for it to dry and then apply any nail polish you want. let dry and apply clear nail polish and let dry. try this every time you want to paint your nails for about 1-2 months. after that dont paint them for about 2 weeks, then your nails will be fine to paint over with just nail polish. best of luck!

it happens to my mom also the only thing i can really tell you is you have to wash your feet like 2 times a day and use the remover on it a couple times a day. my mom just leaves em and allows it to wear off. this is my advice column!
Lightly buff the top of your nails, then paint it clear. It happens sometimes. Painting your nails clear first help stop that in the future.

There's not much you can do. But, what you can buy is a clear nail polish. You put that on before you put on an actually color. It helps your nails from getting stained from the other nail polishes. It's a really good nail protector. Red actually stains nails really bad, same with black. Try just using nail polish remover every once in a while.
