If i have a red and gold outfit on, what color should my nail polish be?

redIf i have a red and gold outfit on, what color should my nail polish be?
which ever color is least on ur outfit thats the color to wear ur nail polish because u dont want too much of one color.

EX: if there is more red on ur outfit and less gold wear gold nailpolish therefore the gold will stand out! :D

trust me on this one....If i have a red and gold outfit on, what color should my nail polish be?
you should put both colors!

if you have or are getting long nails you should get the color you like the best and use it as the base color and the other color on the tip of your nails!
I would say red. The gold nail polish might not look right.
whatever color you have the least of!

best awnser? :))
Black, or white, or just a simple french tip
golddd. or like, bronze-ish. i love metallic colors! :D
Black =]

What is so god about OPI nail polish?

The OPI polishes have lower chemical amounts than in nail polishes you find at drugstores or mass-market retailers. They also last quite a bit longer, apply smoother and are not tested on animals. :)

Now, with that said, each person has their own favorite polish, so you'd have to try them to see if they work for you. Essie is another polish that is highly liked, so you might try those as well.

Fantastic color selection in both lines.

Best of luck!

Bionic BeautyWhat is so god about OPI nail polish?
I bought a bottle about a year ago. I like the polish as it stayed much longer than most other polishes. Less chipping off the ends. Just my personal experience. What is so god about OPI nail polish?
I like OPI, it tends not to chip as easily as store brands and the colors are amazing. Personally, I don't like essie polish, it seems to fall right off of my nails. Basically, it is all personal preference.
OPI nail polish is not god
Absolutely nothing special and worth the extra money. They do have a line (or at least used to) called ';Nicole';, that was supposed to be more environmentally friendly and had a portion of sales go to politically active groups such as ';Rock the Vote';. Problems with the Nicole line was they were even MORE expensive than regular OPI polish, and the polish itself was kind of thin, at least three coats needed for uniform color. It was packaged well in very cool looking bottles.
its pretty much the same as regular polish

only sold in salons
I find the same thing with Essie polishes if I don't use a base and top coat. I got my nails done with Essie polish once, and it stayed for a good amount of time. OPI polishes are nice, they have a good selection of colours, no animal testing, and the brush is really nice-it's a flatter brush than on what you'd find in a drugstore, so it really helps with the application.

I can't decide, is coloured nail polish cute or not?

Like a pink or black or something?I can't decide, is coloured nail polish cute or not?
I think its really cute.. but i think it looks better on short nails.. and it looks even better on toenails.. butttt i know a lot of guys that ussually just like natural nails..but who cares what they think!I can't decide, is coloured nail polish cute or not?
yea unless its like bright, this season its briht colours but light, like light yellow blue etc.
definatley!its sooo in lately, red is sexy yet classy! and a viberant pink is sweet and summery! go for it , use colours that suit ur skin tone =)
of course its cute
Black isn't really coloured...but i 鈾?coloured nailpolish! it draws attention to your nails. i especially think blue, purple, and silver look the best. :)
I definitely think colored nail polish is cute. especially during summer, bright colors like pink, orange and yellow look awesome on toes and nails :)
definately =D
Yeah of course it is.. I usually paint my nails to match what I'm wearing.
no black. its ugly.
Yes, colored nail polish is cute. But not black in the summer.
I personally dont like black nails but pink and red can be very cute
Of course its cuuute!

I personally liked french manicures the most out of everything. But colored nails are adorable =)
yes.. of course it is..

What kind of nail polish colors are in right now?

dark? light? neutral? metallic? bright?...or specific colors? What kind of nail polish colors are in right now?
Darker colors are in style right now, like dark purples and navy blues. As we move into spring, you will see pale pinks and neutrals, and then the colors will brighten up for summer. What kind of nail polish colors are in right now?
Well for things such as school the colors that are in at my school are black and bright colors.

If not school then I have no idea.
neutral red
black: bright pink: dark purple
Pink is this seasons hottest colour apparently
neon pink :)
Pale pink is really in, any kind of pastels like that.

If your into bright colors I would go with a hot pink or a Purple.
Really bright colors are in right now. Try eye-popping pinks or lime greens.
Lights like pink are in becuase the natural femine look is in. Just ask Rachel Zoe (celebrity stylist %26amp; autor) tyra banks, or carmniee from what not to wear.

The Clasic French Manicure is a never fail for any age and style.

Black is in as well. But it doesn't look good on pale skin, or long nails, keep your nails short.

All so you can never go wrong with the classic femine bright red or pink

Another idea is to do a fun dark color like black or dark blue and then paint 2 coats over it in a glittery pear color. Its metallic but not as extreme and more feminie
Neons, i guess... reminds me of the ugly 80's colors
you will never ever go wrong with a french manicure.
well at my school people are wearing bright colors.

like neon pink or green.

and thats fine with me cause its my favorite :)
Black

Light pink with white tips
Hot pink, dark purple is just now starting to fade away....
PINK IS INK!!!!!!!! haha, that doesn't make ANY sense but i'm the kinda kid to do stuff like that!

but seriously pink is in
baby colors, light light pink ,baby blue, peach, rose, springy colors!
ignore them, i work in a professional nail salon and i know for a fact that the main colors are very light colors and shimmers, keeping it simple and natural is IN, hope ur nails turn our good!
well right now...french manicures with the black tip and a white lining are in...also natural nude colors are in..nothing too bright! save that for the summer
bright pink
hot pink with little black stars
i like bright on my finger nails

and dark on my toes!

but i dont know whats in

everyone wears different

ones. just go with whatever you

like!
right now:

hot pink

%26amp;

black

mine r hot pink right now lol!!
Darks are popular now, partly because it's winter here. Deep, rich shades of burgundy, blue, maroon and even dark gray with sparkles are hot.

I really like one called ';Take A Chance'; by Orly. It's sort-of maroon, but changes to copper in the light. Very sexy!

Of course, a clean french is always nice, maybe with a translucent blue, purple or pink for the base as a variation.

Don't forget the toes too!

Have fun!
Bright colors %26amp; black
ive seen a lot of people with neon

but i like french manicures
Right now, according to seventeen magazine 'Indian' type colors like the ones from sahris are extremely high fashion. So anything bright like yello, hot pink..etc. Also , the color purple, is extremely popular..Everyone at my high school, which is all like super popular preps. All purple nails
pink whether it be light or dark or bright any tone in color pink nailpolish looks fabolous.......so try out dear.....
NEONS!!!! or black, but thats kinda faded a bit
Hot pink is hot.

My Mom spilled nail polish on her favorite khaki pants...HELP!?

how does she get it out?My Mom spilled nail polish on her favorite khaki pants...HELP!?
I've never found a way to get nail polish out of clothes....you could try a dry cleaner and see if they have anything that could do it...but honestly I'd just tell your mom she owes you a new pair of pants. My Mom spilled nail polish on her favorite khaki pants...HELP!?
i would use whit spirit then wash
Acetone, you need to buy some Acetone,(Qt. can/bottle) and saturate area and dab/gently rub intill all polish is out then Launder as usual.

How to bring back a chunky nail polish back to normal ?

Gradually add half a capful of nail polish remover (acts as a paint thinner) to the bottle and shake hard for a few seconds. How to bring back a chunky nail polish back to normal ?
u can add acetone which also acts as a nail polish remover as well as thinner, it is easily available at chemist. Kindly put 2 to 3 drops of acetone or nail polish remover at a time so as to avoid making it too thin making it difficult to apply as it will dry at the time of applying. I hope r query is solved. How to bring back a chunky nail polish back to normal ?
Put some nail paint remover (increase the amount to make it more liquidy) and just shake.
put a little warm water in it, shake it up, and/or stir it with a toothpick, use right after
add nail polis remover and shake it for about 10 minutes
put some nail polish remover in it and it should work.
maybe try putting it in warm water.. and then shaking it.

  • Whats your favorite nail polish color?

mine is either black or red!Whats your favorite nail polish color?
all neon and black!!! :)Whats your favorite nail polish color?

Nail Polish with Black and Blue Dress?

What nail polish would go best with a black dress with blue beading?Nail Polish with Black and Blue Dress?
    I'd wear black.

Or a French manicure.Nail Polish with Black and Blue Dress?
a french manicure nail goes well with everything, and because its subtle it wont draw attention from the dress or you.
Try a color that woould really pop and bring life to the dress then use accessories the same color!

-try bright red or hot pink or even broght orange!
if the blue is like a dark navy and if the dress is a little formal:a pure white or soft creme looking color.

BUT if the dress is fun and flirty and the blue is bright and vivid i would say deep red. black blue and red are really stylish. take forever21 for example, they have a whole section of clothing based on those colors and they're super cute.
    black.
it depends what kind of shade the blue is. if it's a dark navy blue, go for a dark navy blue. if it's like turquoise, go for black.

however, i think red goes with everything, too. or a french manicure.

What's a funky, but nice, nail polish color?

right now i'm wearing a purple shade with a little blue in it. i just want something different besides the regular pinks and reds. my skin is honey toned, or brown like.. the color of starbucks caramel frapp. haha =]What's a funky, but nice, nail polish color?
i know how you feel . I don't like the pinks and reds either. But a very light bubble gum pink is soo cute on the toes with flip-flops. But on the fingers, try a deep purple, deep colored red, or a aquamarine-tealish blue. Another cool thing to do is to get a clear polish with....green sparkles for example. Or you could go with glow in the dark nails-now those are awesome ;-). Hope this helps. What's a funky, but nice, nail polish color?
Any of the O.P.I. night shades. I especially like OPI Ink, and Lincoln Park after Dark. Light My Sapphire is also very nice.
    a dark eggplant shade
White, its pretty popular right now.
    hot pink and green,

    teal and yellow

    dark purple with a flower!
i think white and hot pink and femine and looks would look greta with your skin tone that is kinda what i am like =P! god luck and if you find any that are Great you better let me know!
    black or neon green
Navy blue or like a pinkish-orange
Try a really dark color like Chanels Vamp. It is really sexy, almost black with a hint of red. It looks awesome on caramel skin, especially on toes.
Neon Orange nails inc have an awesome 1
at walmart theres this brand called ';pure ice';. %26amp;%26amp; i absolutely love their colors,

%26amp;%26amp; they have a veryyy wide variety.
Black! honestly that is really in right now, but wear some colourful bangles on one arm to look funky, and not gothic.
black. it's not just for ';goths'; anymore. its really trendy and bold.

I just found a box turtle poor thing has nail polish on his shell! Is there anything safe or any way remove it

the polish will not hurt the turtle but you can remove it by getting some nail polish remover but get the sort that is acetone free, put some on a cotton bud and gently wipe the nail varnish off, rinse the shell after with warm water making sure no water goes in the eyes or mouth, don't use any abrasive products as this can damage the shell doing more harm than good, hope all goes well best of luck.I just found a box turtle poor thing has nail polish on his shell! Is there anything safe or any way remove it
    From this site:

    http://members.aol.com/Mite37/BoxTurtle2鈥?/a>

鈥淚 tried a product called Fast Orange, a cream hand cleaner sold in automotive parts stores, discount stores, and hardware stores. The active ingredients are citric acid and ground pumice stone. I found that the best way to use this was to dampen the turtle, then smear the hand cleaner on her and let it sit for a minute or two. Then I alternated between using a pot scrubbing pad and an old toothbrush to remove the paint. Sometimes I was able to simply peel the paint off with my fingernail in some spots on her shell. This took several days, the scrubbing was irritating to her so I鈥檇 have to work on her a couple of times a day to keep her from being too uncomfortable. After three or four days, all that was left were tiny flecks of paint that were not even noticeable. 鈥?br>

Please don't leave it to wear off by it's self enless the turtle is full grown. Otherwise the paint will effect the growth of the turtle.I just found a box turtle poor thing has nail polish on his shell! Is there anything safe or any way remove it
Acetone free nail polish remover, rinsed off afterwards should be fine. If it has markings on it though, it might be someone's pet. You should put up ';Found'; ads in your neighborhood (I doubt the box turtle wandered too far) or a found post in your local paper or craigslist.
yyes, nail polish can hurt it, take a warm wash cloth, and gently rub at it, if that doesn't work, use a q-tip or take it to vet... :( do not use nail polish remover, (it will burn it worse than the nail polish its self)
I highly doubt the nail polish would hurt it. Must be someones pet maybe you should put out a flier for found turtle. But if the nail polish really bothers you try nail polish remover.
maybe this turtle is trying to make a fashion statement. I think you should leave it on there, evidently it's not bothering said turtle.
Soap and a sponge, you can also see if nail polish remover will work
if its on its shell nail polish wont hurt it nor will trying to remove it with nail polish remover
try soap and water. if that doesnt work, try nail polish remover, but not to much.

  • I heard it's a good idea to store nail polish in the refrigerator. Is that true and why?

Yes, it stays fresh and it makes it dry faster..I heard it's a good idea to store nail polish in the refrigerator. Is that true and why?
    ';A friend of mine who used to sell nail polish, and who did my nails for my wedding, told us that the best place to store your nail polish is in the fridge. So thats what I do now. It doesn鈥檛 go gunky in hot weather either. To stop it from sealing shut, just a little petroleum jelly on the neck of the bottle and on the thread inside the lid should stop that. During the summer I do keep my lipstick, lip balm etc in the refrigerator. It keeps it firm, as it can melt in the heat. I have a nice little box that I keep my moisturizers, powders, foundations, brushes etc in. It keeps the bathroom at least a little bit tidy. ';

    **Yes,

most chemicals can be stored longer by keeping them:

    - sealed from from air %26amp; moisture (both from getting in or getting out)

    - away from ';radiation';, specifically heat, sunlight or bright lights

    - cooler but above freezing

****...(when polish is exposed to heat, it thickens and gets hard to apply). Be careful, food and chemicals don't mix! To avoid contaminating Mom's favorite leftovers, store polish in a plastic container before chilling.

When you're ready to do your nails, rub the bottle gently between your palms to warm it up. Don't shake it, shaking mixes air into the polish and causes bubbles.

If you opt for all-natural or organic skin care and cosmetics, you`re products don`t contain any preservatives and will expire before traditional products. Their shelf-life is shorter and their freshness needs to be monitored more closely as to avoid exposing yourself to bacteria and possible infection. Any product, whether organic or not, may have it`s safety and effectiveness compromised by being exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures. Therefore, it`s best to store your products in a safe place where they will be kept at constant room temperature. Products that have not passed expiration dates but have been exposed to extreme conditions, should not be used.

Makeup products should be renewed after a certain amount of time, whether or not they are empty. It is commonly recommended to replace cosmetics every 12 weeks, although every 8 weeks is better. Products that come in close contact with the eyes, such as mascara and eyeliner - since bacteria are very easily spread here, religiously renew these products at least every 6 weeks.I heard it's a good idea to store nail polish in the refrigerator. Is that true and why?
    ';Storing nail polish in a refrigerator can keep it's consistency just right.';

    http://www.esqueeky.com/tips_nailcare.sh鈥?/a>

If you keep your nail polish in a warm place then it changes consistency, because the temperature in a refrigerator is cool and consistent the consitency of the nail polish stays the same and does not become ';gummy';.

    Hope this helps x
YES BECAUSE IT KEEPS IT FRESH AND MAKES IT LAST LONGER AND THE NAILPOLISH WONT CLUMP UP SO FAST AND IF YOU WANT TO APPLY THE POLISH INSTEAD OF SHAKING IT, ROLL IT BETWEEN UR HANDS SO THAT THERE WONT BE ANY BUBBLES IN THE BOTTEL AND NO BUBBLES WHEN U APPLY IT ON THE NAIL. HOPE THIS HELPED YOU BECAUSE IM A NAIL SALON WORKER AND ARTIST SO I DO KNOW AND YOU CAN ALSO PUT A LITTLE PETROLEUM JELLY ON THE NECK OF THE BOTTEL AND ON THE BRUSH INSIDE THE LID AND IT WONT GET STUCK IF TRYING TO OPEN IT .
heat will make polish thicken. i keep mine in a big box under my bed and just use polish thinner if i need it. dont use remover to thin it! thatll just make it unusable.
Keeping nail polish in the refrigerator is great because it keeps its consistency.

    Hope i could help =]
it is cool you can put any where not only for nail

    come on keep going
    yeah its true

it keeps it from getting gooey and sticky and basically keeps it from going bad
yeah it helps it stay fresh and not get all gooey. plus it keeps the color looking new.
I have done that for years. It keeps it from getting sticky and gloppy. I do think its a good idea.
the temperature keeps it from becoming thick and dry
    Yup.. very true.
Ive never heard of that lol!

I dont think ill try though
    IDK LOL
    so it can stay fresh
omg im so doing that from now on!!! (i read everyones answers and they said yeah it works)
I've never heard that.... just make sure you close the bottle and ur nailpolish will be fine! :)

Girls, would you date a guy who wears toe nail polish?

This is a follow up question on a previous question where 19 out of 29 girls stated they would not date a guy who wore nail polish on his finger nails.Girls, would you date a guy who wears toe nail polish?
No, that is a little to weird for me.Girls, would you date a guy who wears toe nail polish?
Duhh no answer this: Do you want a gay boyfriend?
    never ever.....

I hate this kind of boys........
hell no i would not date em!!!!!
I might date a guy who wore finger nail polish (black, blue), but certainly not toe nail polish.
it depens on, if its a hot goth guy, i probably would, but then everything else has to fit too...you understand?
    no way not even clear!
    hell nah!!!
    depends what color.
    no that's really weird
no nail polish on toes or fingers
    if it's clear, yes
    No
    ew....no
It depends on why he has it... i dated a guy that sometimes had nail polish on his toes cause his daughter wanted to paint them. so i guess that's ok...
    nope
First of all, what is the reason for wearing toe nail polish?
Is he nice and polite? Then yes. Especially if it's clear.

Just not black- that's an automatic no.
well, I did...an emo guy who wore more make-up then me! then I found out he was Bi, and cheating no me with girls and guys... that did it for me! I will never date an emo guy for the rest of my life!!!
Guys that get pedicures wear clear polish and there are lots of them.
no i would not date a boy that wears finger nail polish becase it would seems verry weird to me.lol
    absolutely not. that's just weird.
its a little weired 4 me but i don't think theres anything wrong wit it
    That's legal?
Definetly a no! Now if you was talking about them getting a pedicure at least once a year or so than I wouldn't mind that

LOL uhhhh no, and there are no chances my opinion on that would ever change..
NEVER!!!!!!!!! he's a gay! Men minus toe nail polish r hottest!!
yeah as long as he didnt wear open toed shoes out in public!
    Ummm... how about HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are non-polar molecules such as oil, iodine, and nail polish dissolve easily in water?

No because water is a polar solvent and will therefore only dissolve polar solutes (a solute is the substance that dissolves, the solvent is the substance that does the dissolving)

To dissolve the substances you have listed, you need a non-polar solvent. In general - Like dissolves Like - so polar solvents such as water dissolve polar solutes (such as hydrogen chloride) and non-polar solvents (such as hexane) dissolve non-polar solutes (such as oil)

What's a great fall nail polish colour?

I was thinking of going with a dark blue nail (like OPI Russian Navy), but I find it might be too dark and not very versatile!

I'm a very light blonde with pink-toned skin. What's a great fall colour?

What's going to be your fall nail polish colour? What's a great fall nail polish colour?
Try Lincoln Park After Dark (deep, gorgeous purple) and Midnight in Moscow (rich, dark brown) - both OPI colors. What's a great fall nail polish colour?
I just went and got a pedicure on saturday...at a very upscale salon. The lady that did mine, told me that Red's are gonna be the ';IN'; style this fall....Like deep reds, and Bright Shiny Reds.

    OPI nail polish..is the BEST!

She told me also, that it makes pple look darker complicted.

But anyway, this is a top scale salon, and they are up to date with all the lastest fashion..etc.
Im a guy but here are some advices. Take a look at your surrounding, at your environment. Always blend in with your environment. During fall, what do you see? Lots of yellow, red, light green leaves. Blue or Navy is a bad idea. It'll work in the winter though.
    Gold !!

a very warm rich color and it matches with EVERYTHING

I would say navy is a hard color to pull off for more than like a weekend so stick to neutrals and stuff that you think says YOU
Mines going to be yellow or orange and lime green.

    help please?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
black, or blue, or white, or purple, or brown
I like a dark cranberry, rich, maroon tone for fall.
think lightish brown with kind of a metallic finish would be cute

mines going to be a burgundy color
I'd use dark or bright red.. red is IN for this fall

Whats your favorite color for nail polish?

and what would be a popular/fashionable color nail polish for a girl in highschool?

thank youu :)Whats your favorite color for nail polish?
Clear on my fingers sometimes a skin matching color.

brown, dark red, or nude color on my toes.

I think that the most lady like and sexy colors are the colors that match up with your skin tone. NO lime greens and highlighter oranges.Whats your favorite color for nail polish?
French for my nails and crimson red for my toes *French's on toes look tacky. A popular/fashionable nail color or a high school girl would prob. be... crimson red for nails %26amp; toes, French's for nail's and brighter colors on the toes, or light pink like Chanel's Pink Satin.
I like black, and neon colors. I also like peach, and purple ;) I give myself a twisted french manicure, by doing different color tips. I also use those Sally Hansen Nail Polish Pens to make really cool designs.
I put clear on my fingernails, and on my toes I either use red or dark purple on my toes during the winter/fall and in spring an summer I use brighter colors like pink, teal, sky blue and lilac.
Crimson red. Or a deeper shade of red. If you want to go with popular, it's not necessarily my favorite, but...french manicure.
I would say probably a shimmer kind of bronze probably! =)
    Light pink (=
turquoise and bright blue are in for the season, purple is out!
    light purple :)
    i like black

What is wrong with my nail polish?

to save money, i stopped with nail tips and am now doing my own nails. the nail polish i use is OPI but when im done, my nails polished look bumpy and smeared, although when i have done them, they look good. i use the spray Kwik dry to dry the polish. is there something I can do to stop how this looks? im almost ready to go back to tips just because my hands look so bad.

HelpWhat is wrong with my nail polish?
Hi sweetie apply a good base coat first, then polish let dry completely add another coat, dry and a clear top coat.OPI is best if warmed up in palms of hand and rolled not shaken.I used to do nails and this is what the OPI rep recommended. Personally with the economy try Walgreen's Sinful Colors Professional I love itWhat is wrong with my nail polish?
I think you should stop using the spray. One of the reasons it is probably bumpy is because it is not drying properly and the spray definityl has something to do with it. Try not to touch or bump anything when the polish is still wet as this makes many smears. Another thing is maybe you should consider a better brand of nail polish maybe more expensive then OPI.

NO PROBLEMS WITH MY OPI WHEN THEY ARE BRAND NEW ,BUT I DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT WHEN IT AGES A BIT (AFTER A MONTH) IT GETS THICK AND DIFFICULT TO APPLY AND I GET THE BUMP EFFECT AND THEN YOU HAVE TO DILUTE AND IT GOES ON AND ON..MAYBE THE PLACE YOU ARE GETTING THEM FROM IS SELLING YOU EXPIRED PRODUCTS, IF YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH YOUR FIRST APPLICATION. DO YOU HAVE SEPHORA AVAILABLE TO YOU? IF SO GIVE SEPHORA'S NAIL POLISH A TRY, IT'S MORE ECONOMICAL AND PRETTY GOOD THE LINE CALLED RAINBOW PRIORITIES. OH AND I ALSO USE OPI'S RAPIDRY SPRAY AND IT WORKS AMAZING!
Stop using the spray. This is probably what caused the bumps. Instead, you can get a nail dryer for around $20. They usually come with many tools to help you get that nail salon look!
Are you shaking the polish prior to using it?

When you shake it, air bubbles form inside the bottle. Also, you have to wait for each layer to dry completely before applying another. And dont do more than two layers
always clean your nails with nail polish remover before you apply nail polish it cleans the nail surface really good and helps it go on smooth.
You need to find a nice shop who you trust to do better tips on your nails . A Small business owner always appreciates the return visits . good luck.
dont shake the polish to mix it up roll it

How to apply press-on nail polish.?

I was browsing on hot topic.com and I saw ';press on nail polish'; and I was wondering how it actually stays on your nails. How to apply press-on nail polish.?
Press-on nail polish is more like stickers for your nails. You remove the backing and you stick them on your nails. You may want to cut them to suit your nail shape. It gives your nails an effect of wearing nail polish. You don't have to wait for it to dry like nail polish.

    French manicure nail polish?

I want a nailpolish that is fast drying and glossy! Some nail polishes are like really chalky and mistakes can be seen very easily. NYC is the perfect consistency but it takes forever to dry. I used to have Maybelline Wet Shine in white but they discontinued it. Any ideas? I have Rimmel London and Sally Hansen but they aren't glossy :) I've been trying to find the right one for years. Thanks!French manicure nail polish?
i would use OPI polish they have two colors that i use on my clients the pink is called passion and the white is called alpine snow, i use these prob 9 times out of 10 when i do a french. also its not the white that you want to shine its the top coat you put on afterward. i like to use super shiney by creative nails, its also a professional polish like OPI. i like my nails to really shine as well no matter what color i have on so i always use the creative top coat. good luck!French manicure nail polish?
I am looking for an old Maybelline nail color that is maroon with some gold looking flecks in it. Does anyone know what color that is??? thanks

It doesn't matter if the white is glossy... or the nail polish for that matter.

Put on whatever polish you want, just apply a high-shine top coat.

Buff your nails too. The ridges in them make it look uneven, thus less shiny.

    Hope that helps! :)
OPI. it's what they use in most salons, and it is great nail polish. one bottle will run you around 7-10 bucks though. well in California it will.
Use Sally Hansen then put a gloss polish on over the white polish. That's what I do and it looks great. It also helps prevent chipping. :)
i love seche brand nail polish for french manicure. they have a nice soft white and a pale pink or buff that is very natural. and a super fast dry top coat that is pretty shiny.

I recently had a french manicure done, and they used clear over the whole nail instead of a color and it was super shiny for a while.

Usually the yellowing is from polish pigment. The really bad yellowing is from darker colors like burgandy's and wines and reds, etc.

There is another though...besides smoking... using a cheap base coat that contains the chemical ';nitro cellulose'; will yellow nails. Choose one wisely. Most ';drug store'; brands contain this, so you may have to go to a salon and find one.

You can try LIGHTLY buffing the nail to remove the stain. BUT don't over do it because you will make your nails thin by over buffing, and you shouldn't buff a nail more than every 6 weeks or so. You might also want to try just using a clear coat for awhile.

The red would be more appropriate for fall and would stand out more than a light pink. Light pink is great for summer when your skin is most likely to be tan. Ask the cosmetic clerk to help you choose a blue red, which is softer than a dark red and compliments most skin colors. Have fun!
Get a french manicure. You can never go wrong that way. Don't do the red. It will be to screaming. Go with the pink if you don't want to spend the money and get a french manicure. The dress sounds really nice with the blue ribbon

Does black nail polish look unprofessional?

I love it and use it all the time. My boss doesn't care but I deal with children and parents every day.

What do you think?Does black nail polish look unprofessional?
It looks like your working on presenting a statement on your lifestyle rather than trying to look professional. If your focused on making a statement about how good you are at what you do then focus on presenting that image. People will remember you for the black nail polish not the good job. You choose.Does black nail polish look unprofessional?
I say..... yes, it does look unprofessional.
Ahh, it depends on your personality... if you're punky and nice who cares... if your dark and goth, then yeah... maybe only since you're working with kids, other wise who gives a rats patuti
as with ANY color, as long as it isn't chipped or your nails aren't ragged, i don't see anything wrong with it, it's very fashionable right now

i don't think most people would have a problem with it as long as it's done like other colors would be -- i mean, not in a 'punk' look
I think as long as it's not all chipped its just fine. But I think that with every other color of polish.
    yes
Depends on what you do for a living....................
I think it really depends on the profession.
    dont know and dont care.

i wear it all the time.
I would say yes. Because black nail polish gives people a gothic look.
the simple answer is yes, it is unprofessional. I'd question someone caring for children that wears black nail polish.
I love seeing women with a light skin tone wearing dark nails (fingers and toes)

    rock on baby
no i don't think it does, as long as u don't wear a lot of black clothes.
Yeah. From an adult's perspective it is. I love it though.
